This piece celebrates a couple in their new life stage as empty nesters: getting to practice tai chi, learn new things, and connect with Mother Earth through hiking, camping, exploring national parks, taking trips with their pet parrot, and seeing the world through eyes of wonder.
The process:
Share what you’d like to celebrate: Stories, inside jokes, favorite qualities, memories, lessons learned around the people / pets you’d like to celebrate in the custom portrait
Send in reference photos: Well-lit clear photos work best
Logistics: I send you a photo release form and an invoice (60% paid upfront, 40% at the completion of the piece)
You receive: A physical print of the piece you can frame (US shipping included). Prints are printed on archival quality fine art matte paper. Digital files for personal use only can be purchased for $150.
Timeline:
Standard: 4 - 6 weeks, including shipping time (3 - 4 weeks for Tier 1)
Rush: 2 weeks (plus $150 rush fee, accepted on a case-by-case basis)

Miranda’s work is so colorful and whimsical, you can’t help but smile and be transported by the positive vibes of her creativity! The piece I commissioned was for my son, and she was able to incorporate symbols with personal and cultural meaning in regards to my pregnancy journey.
She really brought to life the themes of nature and music to celebrate my son’s first birthday, and it’s a piece that we hope will bring inspiration and meaning to him as he grows older. It feels so special to have a piece like this personally created for us with love and care.
