An In-Memory-Of Portrait, Memorializing a Beautiful Soul Who Passed from COVID-19
This portrait honors the life of Alphonse Junior Agovino (JR) who passed from COVID in 2020.
A son, a brother, an uncle, a great-uncle. The second of six siblings.
JR knew the MTA system back and forth. He was a train aficionado.
He loved baseball, and had an amazing sense of humor.
He loved all kinds of food and home cooked meals.
He loved his mother more than life itself. She was his best friend. When he was able to drive, he would take her everywhere having so much fun wherever they went. Visiting relatives, or getting groceries.
When she passed, JR became even closer to his dad. They would eat lunch and dinner together almost every day until his father's passing.
He had a special relationship with each of his family members. For example, he would talk on the phone nightly with one of his sisters. They would always end the call saying, "I love you."
A gentle soul. A rare and beautiful diamond in this world.
He loved everyone, and everyone loved him.
