Work In Progress Watercolor Card

Work in progress shot of a handmade watercolor card for the Mystery Card Patreon Tier

I sat down last night to watercolor some cards for the very first Mystery Card tier Patreon supporter. Here are a couple of in-progress shots of the cards.

About the Mystery Card Patreon tier:

  • For $15 / month, you get a mystery (sometimes handmade) blank card mailed to you each month.

  • You also get access to early writings and thoughts behind-the-scenes.

If you’re on the $5/month tier, I also recently added that you’ll get this reward every couple months on rotation with the Mystery Snail Mail tier ($11/month) as the “points” add up.

Why this is one of my favorite tiers right now:

🍷 I love getting to sit down to make new cards, I love getting to be connected in that way. It’s a process that’s full of joy, and it brings me back to the roots of my artistic practice.

🧀 You get to spread the snail mail love to people you care about. It’s basically like being a part of a card subscription service from your favorite artist, and often, the cards are even handmade! So you might have the only one of that kind.

🍸At the moment, you can even request themes for your mystery cards & they are sent straight to your door with an envelope included.

💌 If you’ve been moved by my work or if it’s been a companion for you over the years, it’s an opportunity to support the work behind the scenes, which keeps me going as an artist and creator even as I’m defining the journey day by day. In addition to the monetary amount, the emotional support I receive from being supported by monthly patrons is HUGE.
