Grief Circle #16

Thurs Mar 2 @ 5:30 pm Pacific Time

The Grief Circles are intimate, quirky, creative spaces to explore our grief through the safe passage of art, poetry, music, thought, story, memory and more, around 3 prompts each time. Bring your voice, or come bear witness.

INVITATION:

I'll share my own answers through story or poetry & invite anyone who would like to share their story to offer their voice through STORY / THOUGHT / POEM / SONG / MEMORY / AN ART FORM.

Bring something you've prepared or share spontaneously as memories and thoughts are sparked through others' sharing. Not ready to share? Simply come and listen.

PROMPTS:

  • If I could fall asleep easy again, one day, I'd open my eyes to find…

  • To lose [X] meant to lose [Y], to return to [Z] would mean to return to [A]

  • How grief looks / feels at different stages and chapters of life

  • No wrong answer

TICKETS:

  • Standard Ticket: $45

  • Sliding Scale Ticket: $5 - 45

  • Community Ticket: $1

LOCATION:

On Zoom (You can access the Zoom link through the online event page on Eventbrite once you get your ticket).

NOTE & RESOURCES:

Because the prompts can get into sensitive territory, please note I am an artist, and not a mental health professional. When sharing, honor where you are, and only share what you are ready to share, and that which is safe and life giving for you.

These Grief Circles have been running since Feb 2021.

Resources and the Grief Circle’s Guiding Principles can be found here.
